Reflectarray antennas are low-profile high-gain systems widely applied in the aerospace industry. The increase their application is leading to problem of getting more advanced performance while keeping system as simple possible. In these cases, design cannot be conducted via analytical methods, thus evolutionary optimization algorithms often implemented. Indeed, characterized by presence many local minima, high number variables, and computational burden required evaluate antenna performance. purpose this paper develop, implement, test a complete Optimization Environment that can achieve scanning capabilities with reflectarray. environment has been selected flexible enough also other different algorithms.
